Unlock Brighter Futures

With tuition costs on the rise and college admissions processes becoming even more selective, students can use all the help they can get. As a PhD student at Oregon State University in animal science, I have experienced three admissions processes and nine years of applying for scholarships. I have received acceptances into both graduate school and veterinary school. I paid for my entire Bachelor’s degree with scholarships, and I have received enough fellowships and scholarships in graduate school to pay tuition and all living expenses without having to work an extra job. I have significant experience with scholarship applications through the OSAC Student Portal, OSU ScholarDollars, and the Education Together Foundation, as just a few examples. My relevant education includes a minor in writing, as well as classes in grant writing. I am excited to help others receive the education they are hoping for and the funding they need.

About Me

My name is Amanda Fox. I graduated from Junction City High School in 2017 with an acceptance to Oregon State University and their Honors College. I wasn’t eligible for any needs-based grants at the time, so I had to figure out a way to pay for tuition. I started applying for as many scholarships as I could. As I navigated undergrad, I became better and more efficient at applying for scholarships. When it came time to submit my graduate school application and start applying for graduate fellowships, it was a much easier transition because I already had a system down.

I graduated from Oregon State University with an HBS in animal science and a minor in writing in 2021 and immediately started a graduate program there. I received my MS in animal science and a minor in statistics in 2024, and I am now working towards a PhD in the same field. I already have an acceptance to the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine to enroll starting Fall 2026.

I also teach at the university level and run a cattle operation under the name Fox Farms Red Angus. I just had a beautiful baby boy named Nicholas. In my free time, I enjoy running and lifting weights, writing, hiking, and spending time with my son and my animals.

Contracts will be drafted prior to the start of services for the benefit of both parties. I am willing to provide online services on Zoom, as well as in-person services if desired for local clients.
